We are looking for a SBS Governance Analyst based in Barcelona .
This position provides support for governance requirements to promote Segregation of Duties (SOD), SOX Compliance, and internal and external audit compliance. The role is an individual contributor to Shared Business Services Governance and Reporting Team with extension into the larger Shared Business Services and Finance & Business Services (FBS) organization.
As SBS Governance Analyst, you will:
Support process and governance requirements including, but not limited to, Segregation of Duties (SOD), SOX compliance, internal and external audits (Provided by Client [PBC] Revenue Audits / Year End Audits). Provide technical support and reporting analysis to Shared Business Services supporting the business areas by creating custom analytical reports and system queries from various SAP data tables, Business Warehouse (BW), Qlik Sense and other reporting systems. Reporting areas include, but are not limited to, Accounts Payable (Disbursements and Invoice Processing), Accounts Receivable, Audits, Billing, Collections, Credit, Customer Master Data, SOX Compliance, Vendor Master.
Thorough, in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and SharePoint with proficiency in reporting tools with SAP system skills, working knowledge of SAP R/3 reporting capabilities, Business Warehouse, Microsoft Analysis for Excel, and other systems as required.
Build and maintain business relationships with SBS Process Owners and SBS Process Champions to encourage positive process implementation, revisions, and documentation, and to promote sustainable audit trails.
Support and encourage an environment of sharing best practices in directing data and ensuring consistency in data presented, as well as involvement in process improvement as appropriate.
You will:
Have Business Degree preferred and / or minimum of 5 years analysis and business process improvement experience.
Be fluent in English and Spanish.
Have excellent business acumen and experienced knowledge and understanding of Shared Business Services processes and requirements including thorough comprehension of the overall Customer to Cash process and / or Requisition to Pay. Awareness of Air Products business needs and impact on and from Shared Business Services.
Be proficient in performing research, analytical, and reporting activities independently while applying influencing skills to position responsibilities and projects of varying scope, complexity, and risk. Working knowledge of standard tools for analysis, testing, and documentation.
Be proficient with SAP data tables and inter-relationships to transactional and master data, ability to extract, manipulate, analyze, and present data.
Demonstrate ability to perform research, process audits, data consolidation and presentation independently and within a team to support internal and external audits.
Have effective interpersonal, communication, change management, teamwork, problem solving skills and shows initiative and assurance in the decision-making process.
Have skills to work well in teams, works effectively with peers, and promotes a collaborative work environment with ability to participate in cross functional, cross business teams.
Be capable of effective knowledge transfer to at mid to high managerial levels within Air Products, especially Shared Business Services Leadership.
Have initiative and assurance in the decision-making process.
Can identify and influence improvement areas and to create and support implementation of impactful efficient and effective solutions.
Demonstrate proficiency in communicating effectively (written or verbal) both conceptual and technical information to a diverse audience and demonstrates effective presentation skills. Proficient in communicating effectively with senior finance, digital technology, and business leaders.
Maintain constructive relationships and work effectively with others outside the immediate work group.
Understand and apply individual problem-solving skills while executing work assignments.
Be self-motivated, organized, and able to multi-task with highly detailed information.
