The main responsibilities of the function of the Divisional Product & Application Service Expert are to ensure that the divisional objectives regarding Product & Application Service support and expertise are met. This is done by Providing a high level professional remote and onsite support for Power Technique products worldwide. The Divisional Product & Application Service Expert supports the Technical Support Manager and PTS Marketing team to define and drive the implementation of a global Service Strategy for a specific Power Technique product range, Special focus on sustainable products, including the Energy Storage Systems (ESS) and other related products.
As Divisional Product & Application Service Expert you will be part of the Power Technique Service Division. It will be your mission to solve complex technical issues, Increase the Product and technology competence level of our Service Network being direct or indirect. Ultimately, you will ensure we understand our customers’ needs and that we provide the Services, support, and tools to support those needs. You will report to the Technical Service Manager of the Product Company where you are located.
Main responsibilities:
Develop technical training, troubleshooting guidelines, video instructions, applications training … in line with our divisional strategy.
Provide the highest level of technical training to the Atlas Copco Customer Centers, Customers and Dealers.
Actively participate in the development of new products in the product companies and ensure the highest level of serviceability and lowest lifecycle cost.
Collaborate with all stakeholders (cross-departmental and cross-divisional) to make sure the PTS KPI’s are met.
Provide accurate and up to date service information related to the product range.
Support Atlas Copco Customer Centers and Customers with technical and application questions.
Develop Lessons Learn Digital material, troubleshooting guides, Application related technical documentation to allow Atlas Copco Customer Centers to become as much independent as possible.
Collaborate with connectivity and technical support team on connectivity projects.
Drive Application and Product knowledge Communities.
Educational requirements:
Technical degree (or higher) or similar through experience.
Knowledge:
Technical knowledge on generators would be a plus.
Technical knowledge on Battery systems would be a plus.
Software skills e.g. MS Office, would be an asset.

Experience and education:
You have a solid knowledge of reman/refurb business and customers' requirements. You have 3+ years of experience in a similar business environment. You have an academic degree in marketing, engineering or can rely on an equally relevant work experience. Field experience in sales or marketing is an asset, engine experience is a big plus. You have project management skills, and you have no trouble prioritizing. Excellent collaboration skills. You are convincing and a true storyteller. Solid knowledge of English.
