We own and manage operating facilities throughout the North America, South America and EMEA regions.
We are currently seeking for a Junior Compliance Analyst based in Madrid to work with and strengthen our Compliance team.
Responsibilities
Researching industry compliance regulations and policies.
Evaluating internal operational and procedural compliance.
Identifies, develops, and assists with the management and control of compliance risks
Analyzing and updating existing compliance policies and related documentation.
Communicating compliance policies and guidelines to Compliance Committee and designated departments.
Developing and executing new compliance policies and procedures as required.
Applying for compliance certification and regulatory approval.
Developing and maintaining a compliance recordkeeping system.
Training employees on industry compliance requirements.
Maintaining communication with compliance regulators and following up on applications.
Keeping up with compliance requirements and amendments to regulations
Manages the daily responsibilities adherent to this position
Education
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Risk Management, Law, or Audit.
Excellent English language skills (written and speaking) C2 level is a must.
Personal Skills
A high degree of autonomy and responsibility
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Detailed-oriented and organized
Ability to multi-task
Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
Technical Qualifications
Experience of 2 years or more in a Compliance role in the energy sector or Big Four.
Proven track record of playing a leadership role in a work environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (advanced Excel and PowerPoint is a must).
