Product Owner

We are looking for a Product Owner with strong expertise in compliance, risk management, and identity verification processes. Spanish fluency is required as part of this role. ✍️ WHAT WOULD YOU NEED? ✍️ 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Compliance Specialist, Risk Specialist, or a similar role. Strong knowledge of Compliance, Risk Management, and Internal Control frameworks. Experience managing and improving Identity Verification (KYC/KYB) processes. Solid understanding of Internal Audit, Regulatory Compliance, and Governance. Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and control frameworks. Proven experience working with cross-functional stakeholders to define and deliver compliance-related products and processes. Advanced proficiency in Spanish (written and spoken). Good level of English (written and spoken). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Currently based in Madrid. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? Own and drive the roadmap of compliance and risk-related initiatives. Define, improve, and monitor identity verification and customer onboarding processes. Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Audit, Operations, and Technology teams to ensure regulatory alignment. Gather business requirements and translate them into actionable product features and process improvements. Participate in risk assessments, compliance reviews, and internal control activities. Implement process optimization initiatives and control enhancements to reduce operational risk. Monitor regulatory changes and industry best practices in compliance, risk management, and identity verification. Track KPIs and ensure the successful delivery of compliance-related initiatives.
